University of Central Florida and Elon University graduate Spencer Schar worked at The Club at Bella Collina as an operations manager from 2019 to 2024 and at DCS Real Estate Investments as a strategic advisor from 2020 to 2024.
The latter company owns real estate assets within the Greater Orlando area; Mr. Schar’s responsibilities included identifying, creating, and managing capital projects with the aim of increasing the value of assets, scouting for and procuring new projects and land for business expansion, working with architects, engineers, and lawyers to execute construction projects, and representing the company owner during business-to-business meetings.
Mr. Schar, having recently relocated from Florida to Denver, Colorado, is looking forward to educating himself on the state’s planning and regulatory environment, which differs from that of Florida. Having previously worked on architectural standards at Bella Collina, he finds the architectural styles of his new home state intriguing.
When he’s not working, Mr. Schar enjoys hiking the trails of the Flatirons near Boulder with his dog.
